CASA project: Aging in Medium-Sized Cities
The CASA project coordinated by the CHL (Centre for Healthy Longevity) at University of Bergamo – and funded under the cascading call of Spoke 1 of PNRR AGE-IT – aims to enhance understanding of the different dimensions of housing and urban vulnerability in medium-sized Italian cities and to analyze the relationship between the main characteristics of these cities and the aging trajectories of their older or next future one adults’citizens.
Redegeronto: Social innovation, Intergenerationality and Care in Ageing
International Network of Studies and Research and Aging Care Systems – Rede Geronto is a civil society organization with national and international operations, focused on strengthening public policies, social technologies and community strategies for healthy aging, longevity and the rights of the elderly. It works in the areas of health, education, social protection, innovation and citizenship, based on the Decade of Healthy Ageing, the SDGs and the Statute of the Elderly Person. Saber Sênior Project: connects older people with children in the literacy phase in public schools. It trains elderly volunteers as reading and writing mentors, promoting intergenerational bonds, digital inclusion and recognition of the expertise of the elderly. It also promotes reverse mentoring with primary school teachers, valuing intergenerational listening and the co-creation of new teaching practices, stimulating the Silver Economy. Sensitive Listening Project: prepares volunteers and professionals to develop active listening skills with elderly people in vulnerable contexts, such as ILPIs, homes and outlying communities. It aims to prevent social isolation, neglect and violence by strengthening local care networks.
Seniores Online: A platform designed to connect over 65 in Piedmont
Seniores Online project was launched in 2023 to create a social platform, both physical and virtual, aimed at fulfilling the need for social connection, knowledge, and information, with the goal of promoting active aging in the Piedmont region.

With approximately 16 million family members affected by younger-onset dementia worldwide, Lorenzo’s House is a non-profit social impact organization offering free, VIRTUAL support programs for families to heal in community and advocate for dementia justice.
