Living at Home Summit / Nursing Homes Summit / Yes We Care Summit
About this workshop :

Caring for our elders also means caring for those who support them. Yet, professions in elder care still suffer from a fragile image, even though they represent one of the pillars of our society. How can we make these professions more visible, more attractive, and better recognized?
In this workshop, Olivier Rit (AND-SC2S), Mickaël Briquet (French Association of Geriatric Occupational Therapists), and Sébastien Martin (Departmental House for Autonomy, Alpes-Maritimes) will share their initiatives and perspectives:
- The role of the Ambassadors for Autonomy Network and the Departmental Center for Autonomy Professions
- The impact of new technologies, robotics, and supportive housing in transforming practices and valuing professionals
- Key levers to attract younger generations, combat ageism, and strengthen intergenerational cooperation
- Emerging skills to be developed: digital, prevention, coordination, and support for neurodegenerative conditions
A unique opportunity to rethink the attractiveness of these essential professions, restore meaning, value, and prospects, and build the future of a sector where human care remains at the center.
