QardioArm is a wireless connected and designed sphygmonanometer. Sold by Qardio, the project was first introduced and funded on Indiegogo crowdfunding platform in January 2014.

This connected blood pressure monitor is compact, which can be carried easily to measure blood pressure wherever you are.
Hypertension is a chronic disease that affects many people in France and which can lead to heart attack or stroke.

Wishing for a convenient blood pressure monitor, portable and not looking like a medical device, Marco Peluso and Rosario Iannella have launched the project QuardioAm. The project was funded up to $ 146.339, with 906 contributors, on the crowdfunding platform Indiegogo. It also won the Red Dot Product Design Award 2014.

It is now marketed and can be ordered on QardioArm.com website.

It is compatible with iPhone 4S, iPad and iPod touch.20131219124152-Iphone_image The recorded measurements are sent to the application and stored on Qardio’s secure cloud, which allows collected data’s tracking. These data can be shared with a doctor or with the family.

The QardioArm blood pressure monitor is priced at 109 €.
