Business France organises several Business Meetings focused on different fields of activity with the aim to promote French companies abroad. Regarding Silver economt a two-day meeting will take place on October 1st and 2nd of 2015, in Toronto and Montréal.

Business France’s main objective is to accompany French companies abroad, to emphasize their know-how and specificities; globally, they aim to promote the economical image of France.

To do so, Business France organises different business trips worldwide in order to accompany French societies in their international and export policies, to help them better understanding local markets and having the proper tools and means for prospecting and marketing.

On October 1st and 2nd, 2015, the Business Meetings of the Silver Economy will take place in Toronto and Montreal. This meeting will be the perfect occasion for French business actors to meet Canadian buyers, to see the local offer and consider market opportunities. This meeting was organised for societies acting in the field of accommodation (smart homes, safety and security devices, etc), transportation and mobility, eHealth and telecare, finance, hobbies and leisure activities, etc.

Today, people aged above 65 represent almost 16% of the total population, and by 2056 their proportion will reach 25.7% according to Business France. It is a strongly growing market that opens up to many opportunities in several fields: accommodation, mobility, care, nutrition or even leisure and wealth management.

Program schedule:

  • Information workshop regarding the Canadian market and the Silver Economy opportunities;
  • BtoB individual meetings with groups from several fields, like collective accommodation, retirement homes, elderly services, health insurance, construction, nutrition, telecommunication, etc.
  • A previous coaching session before the trip.

Furthermore, a webinar will be on schedule on Thursday, September 10th, followed by a coaching session.
