Président de la FIAPA. Fédération Internationale des Associations de Personnes Âgées Membre du Haut Conseil de la Famille de l’Enfance et de l’Age.
Aujourd’hui, la FIAPA regroupe 41 associations ou fédérations réparties dans une quinzaine de pays.
En tant qu’association d’utilité publique officielle, la FIAPA est une organisation non gouvernementale internationale (ONGI) bénéficiant d’un statut consultatif spécial auprès de l’Organisation des Nations Unies.
La FIAPA travaille en étroite collaboration avec l’UNESCO et l’Organisation mondiale de la santé (OMS). Elle est ainsi reconnue comme une organisation internationale représentant les intérêts des personnes âgées.
President of FIAPA (International Federation of Associations of Older Persons) Member of the High Council for Family, Children, and the Elderly.
Today, FIAPA brings together 41 associations or federations in some 15 countries. As an officially recognized public interest association, FIAPA is an international non-governmental organization (INGO) with special consultative status with the United Nations. FIAPA works closely with UNESCO and the World Health Organization (WHO). It is recognized as an international organization representing the interests of older persons.
