About this workshop :
A discussion session on the challenges and solutions regarding housing adaptations to enable seniors to age in place.
This panel will bring together real estate specialists who will share their perspectives on designing “silver-friendly” homes, the necessary adaptations to ensure comfort, safety, and accessibility, and the importance of these adjustments for the well-being and autonomy of older individuals.
Topics will include housing modifications to prevent falls, home layout to promote autonomy, the significance of access to services and the community, and collaboration among various stakeholders to create living environments tailored to the needs of the elderly.
