About this workshop :
There are several home care services for the elderly : Home Assistance and Support Services, Home Nursing Care Services, and Home Support and Autonomy Service, which provide both home assistance and nursing care.
Since a global approach is needed, autonomous home care services will need to be established to replace all these numerous existing services.
Their missions include :
– Organizing home support by assisting with daily activities and tasks.
– Addressing regular nursing care needs.
– Playing a role in prevention and support for caregivers of elderly and disabled individuals (raising awareness about well-being, combating abuse).
This panel discussion will bring together experts in the home care services sector and healthcare professionals to share their perspectives on the ongoing transition to these autonomous home care services. It will also discuss their future within the complex network of various stakeholders in home care, which will play a crucial role in a successful demographic transition.
