The 17th edition of the SilverEco & Ageing Well Awards once again celebrated creativity, innovation, and solidarity in the service of longevity. Gathered at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, key players in the Silver Economy honored the most outstanding initiatives as part of the SilverEco & Ageing Well Festival — the global event dedicated to the demographic transition and ageing well.

With over 140 candidates, 75 jury members (from France and abroad), and 29 distinctions awarded (Trophies, Awards, and Special Mentions), the 2025 edition showcased a thriving and dynamic ecosystem.
The winning and special mention projects stood out in key categories: support for caregivers, health and e-health, housing, SilverTech, intergenerational initiatives, well-being and prevention, combating isolation, leisure/culture/social connection, as well as managerial innovation, quality of work life, and CSR.

Empowering families affected by younger-onset dementia
Lorenzo’s House is the global hub of innovation for the sons, daughters and families affected by younger-onset dementia. With approximately 16 million family members affected by younger-onset dementia worldwide, Lorenzo’s House is a non-profit social impact organization offering free, VIRTUAL support programs for families to heal in community and advocate for dementia justice.

Paliatr Vysočina Region/Vysočina Region

Paliatr Vysočina improves access to palliative care in the Vysočina Region—across hospitals, homes, and senior facilities—through effective work organization. It also focuses on professional education, a public-friendly website, patient data collection, and service quality. Future plans include care certification and clear provider lists for experts and the public.

They empower seniors by reducing digital gaps, combating isolation, supporting healthy life, transforming ageing challenges into opportunities for innovation, social inclusion & sustainable economic development.
SilverTech: Health & Autonomy Innovations
Winner 2025 : The Pure Food Co / Emeis & Sysco
Collaborative Innovation: Emeis & The Pure Food Redefine Dysphagia Care

Co-developed by emeis, Sysco and The Pure Food Co, the project aims to improve nutrition and quality of life for elderly people with dysphagia through innovative protocols and texture-modified meals aligned with international IDDSI standards. It brings together Pure Food Co’s technological innovation with the scale and expertise of emeis, while also strengthening coordination between care and catering teams to better support those living with dysphagia.

Children from our elementary school visit the senior home every month, passionately organizing a uniquely gentle program each time—reading, games, crafts, movement, sharing stories. These visits spark shared moments of joy, hugs, friendship—and yes, a tear of emotion confirming the depth of the bonds. Every visit brightens the seniors’ day. The project nurtures intergenerational empathy and keeps seniors mentally and physically lively.
