Jessilyn Forigo is a strategic leader and relationship builder with more than 20 years of experience advancing mission-driven initiatives across the nonprofit, post-secondary, and public sectors. She brings a unique blend of entrepreneurial vision and hands-on experience in fundraising, stakeholder engagement, and large-scale event strategy to her role as Senior Director, Global Partnerships and Development at the International Federation on Ageing (IFA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At IFA, Jessilyn is guiding a pivotal phase of growth\u2014developing the organization\u2019s first philanthropic roadmap, leading global sponsorship efforts for international convenings, and contributing to the revitalization of its membership model. Her work lays the foundation for long-term, diversified revenue streams and deepens IFA\u2019s global partnerships and positioning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the past two decades, Jessilyn has led communications and development strategy for community organizations, advised nonprofit leaders on capacity-building and revenue generation, and worked within a leading Canadian research university to enhance stakeholder engagement and external partnerships. Her experience includes designing major events, guiding rebranding efforts, building sponsorship portfolios, and shaping narratives that connect people to purpose. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She holds a Bachelor of Communications from Mount Royal University and is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC), an internationally recognized designation for excellence in strategic advisory. Known for her clarity, creativity, and collaborative approach, Jessilyn brings both vision and execution to every initiative she leads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Au sein de l’IFA, Jessilyn dirige une phase cruciale de croissance : elle \u00e9labore la premi\u00e8re feuille de route philanthropique de l’organisation, dirige les efforts de parrainage mondial pour les r\u00e9unions internationales et contribue \u00e0 la revitalisation de son mod\u00e8le d’adh\u00e9sion. Son travail jette les bases de sources de revenus diversifi\u00e9es \u00e0 long terme et renforce les partenariats mondiaux et le positionnement de l’IFA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Au cours des deux derni\u00e8res d\u00e9cennies, Jessilyn a dirig\u00e9 la strat\u00e9gie de communication et de d\u00e9veloppement d’organisations communautaires, conseill\u00e9 des dirigeants d’organismes \u00e0 but non lucratif en mati\u00e8re de renforcement des capacit\u00e9s et de g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de revenus, et travaill\u00e9 au sein d’une universit\u00e9 de recherche canadienne de premier plan afin d’am\u00e9liorer l’engagement des parties prenantes et les partenariats externes. Son exp\u00e9rience comprend la conception d’\u00e9v\u00e9nements majeurs, l’orientation des efforts de rebranding, la constitution de portefeuilles de parrainage et l’\u00e9laboration de r\u00e9cits qui relient les gens \u00e0 un objectif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elle est titulaire d’un baccalaur\u00e9at en communications de l’Universit\u00e9 Mount Royal et est consultante en gestion certifi\u00e9e (CMC), un titre internationalement reconnu pour l’excellence en mati\u00e8re de conseil strat\u00e9gique.
