In 2015 Moira begins her fourth career as a solo entrepreneur — connecting program innovators and business investors, guiding encore careers, and coaching for business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Born in South Africa, she learned journalism the passionate way on, a local weekly newspaper, The Springs Advertiser, where she became Senior Reporter after one month because the other reporter left. There, Moira learned her communications craft while studying at the same time. She went on to become the first Property Editor of The Star, South Africa\u2019s largest daily newspaper, then moved into public relations as Managing Director of WD&F Promotions where she developed a strong French clientele\u2013 Guerlain, Cycles Peugeot, T\u00e9l\u00e9mecanique, CGR, Poclain… so when two of her clients offered her contracts, she moved to Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moira\u2019s plan was to stay for two years, but two stretched to ten and more as a Public Relations Consultant. She continued writing, and assignments included writing the commercial newsletter for the South African Embassy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her next stage was running the Club Qualit\u00e9 94, an association devoted to promoting ISO 9000 norms. From there, Moira joined the GIMAC Sant\u00e9 au Travail 1993 where, due to unforeseen changes within the company in 2002, she was asked to take over as the Director. At the end of 2014, she is retiring from this position and will then operate as an Encore Entrepreneur and spend more time developing her deep interest in positive aging, which she has been exploring passionately since 2007 when she attended the Too Young To Retire and first Positive Aging Conferences in St Petersburg, FL.. There she met Dr Jan Hively with whom she has gone on to co-founded The Pass It On Network, a global program exchange for positive aging with nodes on the six continents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En 2015, Moira entame sa quatri\u00e8me carri\u00e8re en tant qu’entrepreneure ind\u00e9pendante : elle met en relation des innovateurs et des investisseurs, accompagne les personnes dans leur reconversion professionnelle et propose des services de coaching aux entreprises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

N\u00e9e en Afrique du Sud, elle a appris le journalisme avec passion au sein d’un hebdomadaire local, The Springs Advertiser, o\u00f9 elle est devenue reporter senior apr\u00e8s seulement un mois, suite au d\u00e9part d’un autre reporter. C’est l\u00e0 que Moira a appris le m\u00e9tier de la communication tout en poursuivant ses \u00e9tudes. Elle est ensuite devenue la premi\u00e8re r\u00e9dactrice en chef de la rubrique immobili\u00e8re du Star, le plus grand quotidien sud-africain, avant de se tourner vers les relations publiques en tant que directrice g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de WD&F Promotions, o\u00f9 elle s’est constitu\u00e9 une solide client\u00e8le fran\u00e7aise : Guerlain, Cycles Peugeot, T\u00e9l\u00e9m\u00e9canique, CGR, Poclain… Lorsque deux de ses clients lui ont propos\u00e9 un contrat, elle s’est install\u00e9e \u00e0 Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moira avait pr\u00e9vu de rester deux ans, mais ces deux ann\u00e9es se sont transform\u00e9es en dix ans et plus en tant que consultante en relations publiques. Elle a continu\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00e9crire et a notamment r\u00e9dig\u00e9 la newsletter commerciale de l’ambassade d’Afrique du Sud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elle a ensuite dirig\u00e9 le Club Qualit\u00e9 94, une association d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 la promotion des normes ISO 9000. De l\u00e0, Moira a rejoint le GIMAC Sant\u00e9 au Travail 1993 o\u00f9, en raison de changements impr\u00e9vus au sein de l’entreprise en 2002, elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 invit\u00e9e \u00e0 prendre la direction. \u00c0 la fin de l’ann\u00e9e 2014, elle prendra sa retraite et deviendra \u00ab Encore Entrepreneur \u00bb afin de consacrer davantage de temps \u00e0 son int\u00e9r\u00eat profond pour le vieillissement positif, qu’elle explore avec passion depuis 2007, date \u00e0 laquelle elle a assist\u00e9 aux premi\u00e8res conf\u00e9rences \u00ab Too Young To Retire \u00bb et \u00ab Positive Aging \u00bb \u00e0 St Petersburg, en Floride. C’est l\u00e0 qu’elle a rencontr\u00e9 le Dr Jan Hively, avec qui elle a cofond\u00e9 The Pass It On Network, un programme mondial d’\u00e9change sur le vieillissement positif avec des antennes sur les six continents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
