The project is part of WETA\u2019s acclaimed <strong>Well Beings<\/strong> campaign and will be accompanied by a national engagement initiative, 18 original short films, and digital storytelling tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A personal mission turned national movement<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bradley Cooper\u2019s involvement <\/strong>stems from personal experience. \u201c<em><strong>When my father was diagnosed with cancer<\/strong>, that was a wake-up call for me<\/em>,\u201d said Cooper, who cared for his late father, Charles Cooper, during his illness. \u201c<em>It opened my eyes to the world of caregiving. <strong>The level of loneliness<\/strong> can be overwhelming. Raising this conversation on a national level will help, and I believe we can make a difference<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Uzo Aduba also brings personal resonance<\/strong> to her narration, having cared for her mother, who passed away in 2020. The project includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>18 original short films<\/strong>, launched between October 2024 and May 2025, highlighting diverse caregiving situations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A <strong>\u201cWe Are Well Beings Storywall\u201d<\/strong> at wellbeings.org where individuals can share their own caregiving journeys.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>#ShareYourCaregivingStory<\/strong> and <strong>#CaregivingPBS<\/strong> campaigns on social media.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaboration with <strong>Fred Rogers Productions<\/strong> to develop child-friendly caregiving content based on PBS KIDS series (<em>Daniel Tiger\u2019s Neighborhood<\/em>, <em>Alma\u2019s Way<\/em>, <em>Donkey Hodie<\/em>), launching Fall 2025.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The campaign also includes national partnerships with over <strong>30 organizations<\/strong>, including the <strong>Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregivers<\/strong>, <strong>National Minority Health Association<\/strong>, <strong>Lutheran Services in America<\/strong>, and the <strong>Elizabeth Dole Foundation<\/strong>, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>Caregiving<\/em> : <strong>A call to action<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<em>At a time when the U.S. care system is under increasing strain, Caregiving is not just a film, it\u2019s a platform to build awareness, inspire empathy, and drive change<\/em>,\u201d said <strong>Chris Durrance<\/strong>, the film\u2019s director and senior producer. \u201c<em>Our hope is that viewers walk away with a deeper appreciation for caregivers and are inspired to help shape the future of care in this country.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Caregiving<\/em> is produced by <strong>Lea Pictures<\/strong> and <strong>WETA Washington, D.C.<\/strong>, in association with <strong>Ark Media<\/strong>.
