The Living at Home Summit is the congress dedicated to personal care services, aging well at home and home care. A major event that will bring together all professionals in the sector, with one guiding principle: how to improve senior life at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The Living at Home Summit will take place during the next edition of the International SilverEco & Ageing Well Festival<\/a>, on September 14 and 15, 2026 at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adressing the challenges and solutions for improving life at home for the ederly<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Living at Home Summit<\/a> is the meeting point for professionals dedicated to the issues and solutions to improve the lives of seniors at home.<\/strong> This multidisciplinary summit brings together the entire profession: professionals in personal services, health sector actors, technology experts, service providers, policy makers…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This summit will address the fight against isolation and the necessary adaptations to create “silver friendly” homes<\/strong>: exploring best practices to adapt existing residences and envision innovative housing solutions to facilitate seniors’ home maintenance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The attractiveness of personal care service professions will obviously be addressed, highlighting current challenges and potential solutions to make this sector more attractive and resilient in the face of increasing tension<\/strong>, while exploring the role of: personal care services, home help and support services, home nursing care services, multi-purpose home help and care services in creating a conducive environment for home autonomy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Supporting ageing at home: an urgent response to the demographic wall<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Ageing in place has become a social and public health emergency. As the population ages rapidly, demand for personal care services, support solutions and adapted housing already exceeds current capacity. Immediate action is essential: improving the attractiveness of care professions, strengthening fall prevention, expanding the use of connected technologies, promoting \u201csilver-friendly\u201d housing and improving coordination between home care and medical services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Living at Home Summit places this urgency at the centre of its work, calling on professionals, decision-makers and innovation leaders to transform strategies and solutions today, in order to guarantee autonomy, safety and well-being for every older person in their own home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A session will be dedicated to the detection and prediction of falls in the elderly at home and teleassistance<\/strong>. The summit will conclude with a discussion on E-health, examining how digitalisation and digital transition can improve the efficiency and accessibility of home maintenance services for the elderly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
