It involved nine older women and seven older men from ten countries across Africa and Asia.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of such training was to nurture a movement driven by older activists who campaign for rights in older age, and challenge ageism and age discrimination.<\/p>\n<p>See\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.rightsofolderpeople.org\/older-activist-training\/\" target=\"_blank\"
