The most important is to include the person you care for in as many decisions as possible: ask her&nbsp;how she is feeling about Christmas and&nbsp;if&nbsp;she&nbsp;want to inform beforehand of changes in circumstances.<\/p>\n<h2>Tip #2: Help friends and family with ways to communicate<\/h2>\n<p>Share some of these tips so that friends and family feel equipped and ready to enjoy your time together.<\/p>\n<h2>Tip #3: Have a practice run<\/h2>\n<p>If you are inviting a person with Alzheimer&#8217;s, or want to bring a loved one out of a care home, have a few practice runs along the way. <strong>This way you will be able to gauge if it\u2019s achievable.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Include the care home staff<\/strong> and ask how they might be able to support you.
