The centenarian Japanese <a href=\"http:\/\/www.silvereco.org\/en\/a-centenarian-woman-won-a-world-record-during-a-swimming-competition\/3125746\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Mieko Nagaoka<\/strong> <\/a>beat a world record during a 1.500 meters swimming course in small pool. Miss <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.silvereco.org\/en\/a-92-years-old-woman-beat-the-rocknroll-san-diego-marathon-record\/3126288\" target=\"_blank\">Harriette Thompson<\/a> <\/strong>is a 92-year-old marathon runner who beat a world record\u00a0by running a distance of 42,195 kilometres\u00a0in 7 hours, 24 minutes and 36 seconds during the\u00a0Suja Rock \u2018n\u2019 Roll San Diego Marathon.<\/p>\n<p>Brigitte Sinka is a 87-year-old Hungarian chess champion who beat the world record of simultaneous chess.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, we also have the high-level graduates and determined super seniors, like Miss <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.silvereco.org\/en\/barbara-beskind-a-91-years-old-designer-for-elderly-products\/3125060\" target=\"_blank\">Barbara Beskind<\/a><\/strong> who joined an innovating Sillicon Valley start-up at 90 years old as a designer. Meanwhile, <strong>Marcel Masegosa<\/strong> is a Frenchman who passed his literary baccalaureate in the city of Dijon at 93 years old. The 102-year-old<strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.silvereco.org\/en\/a-102-year-old-woman-gets-the-phd-degree\/3126452\" target=\"_blank\">Ingeborg Syllm-Rapoport<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0 is the oldest woman to ever receive a doctoral degree.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Which life lessons should we learn from super seniors? <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Courage and determination are ageless.
