The 3rd International Conference on Information and Communication Technologies for Ageing Well and e-Health (ICT4AWE) will take place on 28-29th April 2017, in Portugal. The conference aims to create a meeting point of researchers and practitioners that address new challenges in Information and Communication Technologies for Ageing Well and e-Health.
Falls are still the number one cause of accidental deaths for people over 65 years old. They can have severe effects on a senior’s physical and/or psychological condition. A new study suggests that bloodstream, respiratory and even urinary infections can cause falls not only for elderly people, but younger people as well.

From Tuesday, 17th to Thursday, 19th March, 2015, the French Senate analysed and adopted the society adaptation to ageing law.
