According to aarpinternational.org, Germany is currently one of five “super-aged” societies in the world, and its population of those age 65 and older will continue to grow, reaching nearly one-third of the total population by 2050.
AARP’s Innovation@50+ LivePitch event is a two-day pitch competition for emerging startups in the caregiving technology and financial technology sectors.
It will take place Wednesday, April 12 and Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, CA, and will include keynotes, featured speakers and panels of various thought leaders from around the globe with focus on innovation for the 50+ market.
We’ve all seen ads on TV and in magazines: « Fifty is the new thirty » or « Sixty is the new forty. » Although that may sound like a nice sentiment, as someone over fifty, I don’t agree at all. Fifty is the new fifty – And I, for one, like the looks of it.
