The 3rd International Conference on Information and Communication Technologies for Ageing Well and e-Health (ICT4AWE) will take place on 28-29th April 2017, in Portugal. The conference aims to create a meeting point of researchers and practitioners that address new challenges in Information and Communication Technologies for Ageing Well and e-Health.

Submission paper is now open

The conference welcomes original papers of either practical or theoretical nature, presenting research or applications, of specialized or interdisciplinary nature, addressing any aspect of Information and Communication Technologies for Ageing Well and e-Health.

One of the most important contributions that ICT4AWE brings about is the creation of a high-level forum in collaboration with the most prestigious internationally recognized experts, including names such as Leszek Maciaszek (Wroclaw University of Economics, Poland and Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia) and William Molloy (Centre for Gerontology and Rehabilitation, School of Medicine, UCC, Ireland) as a Conference Co-Chairs. Carsten Röcker (Ostfestfalen-Lippe UAS and Fraunhofer IOSB-INA, Germany), John O’Donoghue (Imperial College London, United Kingdom) and Martina Ziefle (RWTH-Aachen University, Germany) as Program Co-Chairs.

ICT4AWE 2017 will have several invited keynote speakers, who are internationally recognized experts in their areas.  Panagiotis D. Bamidis (Aristotle Thessaloniki, Greece) and Reima Suomi (University of Turku, Finland) are already confirmed.

How to participate

All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings, under an ISBN reference, on paper and on CD-ROM support.

SCITEPRESS is a member of CrossRef and every paper is given a DOI (Digital Object Identifier).

All papers presented at the conference venue will be available at the SCITEPRESS Digital Library .

It is planned to publish a short list of revised and extended versions of presented papers with Springer in a CCIS Series book (final approval pending).

The proceedings will be submitted for indexation by Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index (ISI), INSPEC, DBLP, EI (Elsevier Engineering Village Index) and Scopus.
